My name is Mrs. Brooke Edgell and I am SO excited to be a part of the Avon East team. More importantly, I am thrilled to be your child’s school counselor this school year! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.
I grew up in Grafton, Ohio and attended Elyria Catholic High School. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from BGSU and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Cleveland State University. This is my 23rd year in education. I've taught kindergarten, first, and second grade in Avon. Time really goes by fast! Last year, I had the amazing privilege of being the school counselor at Avon East and fell in love with this role.
My husband and I have two boys ages 18 and 16. Yes, I can't believe that my oldest graduated high school last year. We enjoy spending time together and traveling.
